Service and purchases
Terms of use and sale
Version dated 2026-08-15
These terms govern use of Lustro and one-off purchases of virtual try-on packs.
1. Parties and scope#
Lustro is provided by Thomas Renon, a French sole trader operating under Renown Studio, SIRET 107 640 138 00015, VAT FR 54 107 640 138, at 2 rue Pablo Picasso, 94550 Chevilly-Larue, France. Contact: admin@renown.fr, +33 6 41 81 15 53.
For paid purchases, Stripe Managed Payments designates the entity acting as contractual seller and Merchant of Record. That entity is identified in checkout and on the receipt. The purchase terms presented by Stripe govern the transaction, while these terms govern access to and use of the service supplied by Lustro. Link may be offered as a payment method.
Lustro is for users aged 18 or over. The version made available when the order is completed continues to govern that purchase. A later amendment does not apply retrospectively to a paid pack unless the consumer agrees or mandatory law requires it.
2. Packs, order, price and delivery#
One unit lets the user request one distinct virtual try-on operation. Web packs contain 10, 40 or 100 units. They are one-off purchases with no subscription or automatic renewal.
The consumer chooses a pack and then completes the order in Stripe checkout, where they can review and correct it before final confirmation. The contract may be concluded in French or English.
Prices shown in Stripe checkout include applicable taxes. The total price, currency, restrictions and available payment methods are presented before final confirmation and prevail over any earlier indicative price.
After payment is confirmed, units are credited to the associated Lustro account, normally immediately and no later than 24 hours afterwards. If delivery is missing, the consumer contacts Lustro support with the date, pack and Stripe receipt identifier, without providing a full card number.
Where offered, the welcome pack grants 3 units free of charge once to each eligible user. It has no monetary value and may be withheld or removed in cases of error, fraud or abuse, without affecting paid units.
3. Operation, photos and results#
Lustro uses a reference photo and garment images to produce an AI-generated preview at the user's request. The service requires an Internet connection, an active account and a supported browser, extension or app version. Accepted formats are shown in the interface.
Users only submit their own photos or photos for which the person shown has given explicit permission. They must hold the necessary rights to all uploaded images. Illegal, deceptive or infringing uses and attempts to bypass the unit count are prohibited.
Lustro claims no ownership of uploaded photos or of the result delivered to the user. The user may use the result for any lawful purpose, subject to third-party rights. An AI-generated result may not be exclusive or eligible for intellectual-property protection.
The result is illustrative and does not guarantee the fit, colour, availability or conformity of the real garment. A reserved unit is returned if processing finally fails without producing a usable result.
Lustro is neither a seller nor an agent of third-party clothing stores and is not responsible for their stock, prices, orders, delivery or products.
4. Withdrawal and refunds#
Consumers have fourteen days from conclusion of the transaction to withdraw without giving a reason. They may use the contact details or support link on their Stripe receipt, or send the Merchant of Record identified on that receipt any unambiguous statement before the period expires.
The pack may be activated immediately after payment is confirmed. Using units during the withdrawal period does not restrict mandatory consumer rights unless the legal conditions for such a restriction have been met. Requests are handled under applicable law and the terms of the Merchant of Record identified on the receipt.
The Merchant of Record identified on the receipt issues the refund to the original payment method within the statutory period. Lustro supplies the necessary usage information and handles delivery incidents. A verified duplicate payment or an order that definitively cannot be delivered is corrected or refunded as legally required. These rules never limit statutory guarantees.
Model withdrawal statement: To the Merchant of Record identified on my Stripe receipt, I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the transaction for a Lustro pack ordered on [date]. Name: [name]. Email used for the order: [email]. Transaction identifier: [identifier]. Date and signature, only if submitted on paper: [date and signature].
5. Statutory conformity guarantee for digital services#
Consumers have two years from the supply of each virtual try-on to invoke the statutory conformity guarantee if a lack of conformity appears. For one year after supply, consumers need only establish that the defect exists, not the date on which it appeared.
The statutory conformity guarantee requires all updates needed to maintain conformity of the digital service.
Consumers are entitled to have the digital service brought into conformity without undue delay after their request, free of charge and without significant inconvenience.
Consumers may obtain a price reduction while keeping the digital service, or terminate the contract for a full refund against giving up the service, if conformity is refused, unjustifiably delayed, charged for, causes major inconvenience or remains defective after an unsuccessful attempt to restore conformity.
Consumers are also entitled to an immediate price reduction or termination where the defect is sufficiently serious. They need not first request conformity. For a minor defect, termination is available only where the contract does not require payment of a price.
Any period during which the digital service is unavailable to restore conformity suspends the remaining guarantee period until a conforming service is supplied again.
These rights result from Articles L. 224-25-1 to L. 224-25-31 of the French Consumer Code. A professional who obstructs their implementation in bad faith may incur the civil fine provided by Article L. 242-18-1.
Consumers also benefit from the statutory guarantee against latent defects under Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code for two years after discovering the defect. It provides a price reduction if the service is retained or a full refund if the service is relinquished.
6. Account, suspension and service closure#
Paid units are personal, non-transferable, non-resalable and have no announced expiry date. They remain available while the account and service exist. Voluntary account deletion permanently removes the remaining balance after the 30-day cancellation period and after the consumer has been informed.
Lustro may temporarily suspend an account for a serious or repeated breach, fraud, security risk or legal obligation. Except in an emergency or where prohibited by law, users are informed of the reason and given a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach. Paid units remain preserved during a legitimate temporary suspension.
Lustro may temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance, security or circumstances beyond its reasonable control. If the service permanently closes for reasons not attributable to the user, Lustro gives at least 30 days' notice where possible and arranges with the Merchant of Record identified on the receipt a refund for paid unused units or offers an equivalent solution accepted by the consumer.
7. Complaints and governing law#
For service, delivery or balance issues, contact admin@renown.fr. For receipts, charges or refund processing, use the support shown on the Stripe receipt. Lustro remains available to provide the Merchant of Record with the information it needs about the service supplied.
These terms are governed by French law without removing any more protective mandatory law in the consumer's country of residence. Competent courts are determined by applicable mandatory rules.
